The Laboratory for Manufacturing Systems & Automation (LMS) of the Department of Mechanical Engineering & Aeronautics, in the University of Patras, Greece, is under the supervision of Professor George Chryssolouris and is oriented on research & development in cutting edge scientific & technological fields. LMS employs approximately 70 researchers and brings rich experience in the area of Production Systems Planning, Control & Networking, focused on the development, software implementation and use of advanced tools based on Artificial Intelligence methods.
LMS will be the activity coordinator while being responsible for task management and delivering the synthetic based vision tools of the solution.

CASP
CASP is a software development and consulting company, based in Athens, Greece, working closely with European and local industry as well as with Universities and Technological institutes, on developing and marketing Business Solutions for a wide range of industrial problems. CASP develops and markets Business Solutions for Enterprise Resource Planning, Production Scheduling, Quality Engineering, Virtual Reality Applications and Product and Process Design.
CASP will develop the IoT platform and cloud services that the SYNTH4VIS solution will be hosted and be responsible for launching and commercializing the product into the market.

Prima Additive will be one of the activity’s industrial endusers supporting the design and validation phases of the SYNTH4VIS solution focusing on the quality and dimension adhesion of metal additive manufactured parts.

ALUMINCO will be the final demonstration site of the aluminum profile detection pilot after preliminary tests in ALUMINCO. As such, ALUMINCO will also involve actively in defining the product requirements and designing the solution.
